He looks formidable, but...
His Wings/Flippers are vulnerable—far more than an ordinary sea turtle's, because they project much farther out than the threat of biting can protect them.
Once you've bitten off enough of just one of the flippers to render him largely unable to maneuver, he's a sitting duck for further biting stuff off attacks.
